Governor Biodun Oyebanji has praised Ekiti State for the remarkable growth it has experienced since its creation 29 years ago. Speaking during the state’s anniversary celebration, he highlighted the strides made in education, infrastructure, agriculture, and governance, which have helped to strengthen the state’s identity and development.
According to Oyebanji, successive administrations have worked hard to ensure that Ekiti continues to evolve positively. He noted that the state has become a model in certain sectors, particularly education, where Ekiti consistently ranks high in national examinations. He also pointed out ongoing investments in roads, healthcare, and technology, which are laying the groundwork for greater opportunities.
The governor reaffirmed his commitment to sustaining the vision of Ekiti’s founding fathers. He stressed that with unity, innovation, and accountability, the state can achieve even greater milestones in the years ahead, while calling on citizens to continue supporting the government’s developmental agenda.
