After 10 years away, Abia-born football star Kenneth Omeruo (now playing for CFR Cluj, Romania) paid a visit to Governor Alex Otti.

After being away for a decade, Abia-born football star Kenneth Omeruo, OON, MON, who currently plays for CFR Cluj in Romania, visited Governor Alex Otti.

During the visit, Omeruo praised the governor for his impressive achievements in the state, saying that he is always amazed by the projects and progress in Abia whenever he checks social media.

He expressed pride in being an Abia native and mentioned that he often shares the positive developments from his home state on his social media accounts. Omeruo also thanked Governor Otti for bringing professionalism to governance.

The footballer revealed his plans to launch a talent hunt in Abia State to discover and mentor young football players. His goal is to help these youngsters gain opportunities to play for major clubs, especially in Europe. He asked for the state government’s support to make this initiative successful.
