Samira Sheriff, the former wife of Maiduguri billionaire Mohammed Indimi, has spoken out against a man she once warned not to lay hands on her child.
The mother of four daughters, including Adama and Meram Indimi, shared her thoughts on Instagram on Saturday, September 13.
She reposted a video from clinical psychologist Danish Bashir, which talked about how narcissistic men behave in families.
In the video, Bashir explained that narcissistic men love the title of being a husband and father but shy away from the real responsibilities.
He said they enjoy the status and validation that come with family life but fail to provide emotional support or selflessness.
He further explained that such men only want to look like they have the perfect life — with a wife, children, and home — but they refuse to act like reliable partners or fathers. The same pattern shows up when it comes to fatherhood.
According to him, these men love the idea of being fathers. They enjoy taking pictures with their kids, posting online for attention, and using their children to feed their ego.
But when it comes to sleepless nights, hard talks, or everyday commitment, they are nowhere to be found.
Bashir also said that these men push all the hard work onto the mother. Later, when the children feel hurt or distant, the fathers blame the mother instead of owning up to their absence. This is why such men are often called “deadbeat dads.”
Reacting to the video, Samira fired back at such behavior. She wrote: “Fake posting of your kids’ birthdays when you don’t even know who they are. Sorry for your life. #deadbeat hahaha.”
She didn’t stop there. Samira added another sharp warning: “Or should I tag you? Didn’t I warn you not to touch my child?” making it clear that her message was directed at someone specific.
