Didn’t I warn you not to touch my child? – Adama Indimi’s mom addresses a ‘deadbeat father’ as she reacts to a post about narcissistic men

Samira Sheriff, the former wife of Maiduguri billionaire Mohammed Indimi, has spoken strongly against someone she had earlier warned not to touch her child.

On Saturday, September 13, she shared her thoughts on Instagram while reposting a video from clinical psychologist Danish Bashir. The video discussed how narcissistic men want wives and children but avoid being real husbands or fathers.

In the video, Bashir explained that such men enjoy the status of having a family because it brings validation and social approval. However, they refuse to take on the responsibilities, emotional presence, and selflessness required in marriage and fatherhood.

He added that these men only want to be seen as perfect husbands and fathers, but they don’t show up when it matters most. In fatherhood, the same behavior shows—they like the idea of being a dad, post pictures with their children, and seek praise for doing little, but avoid the real work.

According to Bashir, narcissistic fathers usually leave all the parenting duties to the mother. Later, when the child struggles emotionally, they blame the mother instead of admitting their own absence. He said these kinds of men are rightly called deadbeat fathers.

Reacting to the video, Samira wrote on her Instagram page: “Fake posting of your kids’ birthdays when you don’t even know who they are. Sorry for your life. #deadbeat hahaha.”

She added, “Or should I tag you? Didn’t I warn you not to touch my child?” making it clear her words were directed at someone specific.
