“102 persons were sl@ughtered in Borno and Tinubu is on vacation” Kenneth Okonkwo laments

Kenneth Okonkwo, the actor and former Labour Party leader, has criticized President Bola Tinubu for being on vacation abroad while violent attacks continue in Northern Nigeria.

He expressed his grief over the recent deaths in Borno, where 102 people were reportedly killed despite warnings from Governor Zulum about Boko Haram’s return.

Okonkwo suggested that the killings might only end when Tinubu’s administration ends, claiming the president does not know how to solve Nigeria’s security problems.

He extended his condolences to the families of those killed, lamenting that the violence continues while national leadership seems absent.

He wrote on Instagram: “When will this massacre of Nigerians stop? 102 persons slaughtered again in Borno despite the continuous warning by Gov Zulum about the resurgence of Boko Haram.

As this is going on, Tinubu is on vacation in Europe. Obviously, this massacre can only stop when Tinubu’s government ends as he is clueless as to the solution of insecurity in Nigeria. My condolences to the family of the slain across Nigeria.”
