Hoodlums st@b motorcyclist to d3ath in FCT community

A tragic incident occurred in the Kwali Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) when a commercial motorcyclist, identified as Lawal Ibrahim, was stabbed to death by suspected hoodlums along Kilankwa village.

According to a resident of Kwali, Musa Alhassan, the attack happened last weekend at about 5:33 pm.

He explained that Ibrahim had picked up two passengers from the Kwali market, who said they were going to Kilankwa village.

Along the way, one of the passengers suddenly pulled out a knife and stabbed him in the neck.

After being attacked, the rider lost control of his motorcycle and crashed. The attackers then seized the opportunity to snatch the bike and flee.

Some farmers returning home later found the victim lying in a pool of blood by the roadside. They quickly informed local vigilantes, who rushed to the spot and took him to a hospital in Dabi.

Unfortunately, he died shortly after he was admitted. His body was later handed over to his family for burial.

A vigilante member, Lazarus Isaac, confirmed that Ibrahim was still alive when they found him but did not survive after receiving medical treatment.

Police officers from the Kwali division have also confirmed the incident and are believed to be investigating the case.
