May Yul-Edochie, the separated wife of popular Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, has taken legal action against Yinka Theisen, who is known as the ex-lover of Linc Edochie. She accused Yinka of cyberbullying, cyberstalking, and spreading damaging lies about her online.
In a statement released by her lawyers, Graylaw Partners, May said Yinka made social media posts that were not only false but also targeted at harassing and ridiculing her. According to May, these posts went beyond simple defamation and became a direct attack on her image, putting her safety at risk with threats and false claims.
May also alleged that Yinka’s actions encouraged other people to join in spreading the harmful messages, making the situation worse and causing her great emotional and reputational harm.
Through the letter, May demanded that Yinka stop posting such content, take down the existing ones, make a public apology, and also publish retractions across all platforms. In addition, she is requesting N500 million in damages as compensation for the harm caused.
