The National Agency for Food, Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has closed down an illegal herbal medicine factory in Mararaba Jos, Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

Acting on reliable intelligence, the agency’s officers discovered that the facility was using unhygienic and substandard equipment, making the medicines unsafe for public use.

The products, valued at N5 million, were seized and are set to be destroyed, while the factory remains sealed as investigations continue.

NAFDAC has assured Nigerians that it is committed to protecting public health by cracking down on illegal operations and holding violators accountable.
