Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has shared once again a personal vision about how he believes his life will come to an end. According to him, when his time comes, it will happen on a Sunday, shortly after attending church service and enjoying his favorite meal—pounded yam.
During the fourth day of the RCCG International Convention, themed “The Overcomers,” Pastor Adeboye told the congregation that his death will be peaceful, without any sickness or suffering. He explained that not all deaths involve a long illness, and that it’s possible to leave the world gently, especially for those who truly belong to Christ.
He first spoke about this vision two years ago, and now, he’s repeating it to remind believers that death can be a peaceful transition for people who walk closely with God. He described how he will eat, worship, and then quietly pass away, confident in the calmness of his final moments.
By sharing this, Pastor Adeboye aims to remove fear and anxiety around death for Christians. He believes that those who live faithfully can also experience a gentle and honorable end.
