Nollywood star Angela Okorie has spoken out about her brief involvement in a controversial WhatsApp group chat linked to the late singer Mohbad.
The group chat has been a hot topic on social media for some time, sparking debate and reactions from various public figures.
Angela took to her Instagram page to explain that she was added to the group by someone she knows, but she quickly exited after realizing the discussions weren’t something she wanted to be part of.
She made it clear that she doesn’t entertain unnecessary drama and would rather focus on her career and personal peace. She also shared her support for justice regarding Mohbad’s untimely death.
Angela said she has always respected actress Iyabo Ojo and supports her whenever invited. She also stated that she has no issues with singer Naira Marley, despite public backlash during Mohbad’s case.
She further explained that many people weren’t aware she had even been added to the chat. As soon as she realized the conversation wasn’t relevant to her, she left. The woman who added her later called to apologize repeatedly.
Angela ended her statement by urging people to stop spreading hate and emphasized that the focus should be on finding justice for Mohbad. She believes that anyone with a conscience would want the same.
