Nigerian comedian Ekene Clinton Egbuna, popularly known as KlintonCod, has spoken in defence of UK politician Kemi Badenoch. His comments come after she was heavily criticised by Nigerians for describing her secondary school experience in Nigeria as terrible.
Kemi Badenoch, who leads the UK’s Conservative Party, recently stated that her time at Federal Government Girls College, Sagamu, Ogun State, felt like being in prison. She said she was made to cut grass and clean toilets without access to running water during her time there.
Reacting on social media, KlintonCod questioned the outrage directed at Badenoch. He said he couldn’t understand why Nigerians were attacking her simply for being honest about her school experience.
According to KlintonCod, there’s no solid or fair reason for the dislike people seem to have for Kemi. He believes her story is truthful and doesn’t deserve the level of criticism it has received.
