Man United: Not best thing to do – Amorim opens up on Bruno Fernandes’ attitude

Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim, has shared his honest opinion about Bruno Fernandes’ attitude on the pitch, pointing out one thing he believes is an issue.

According to Amorim, Fernandes sometimes gets too emotional and loses focus while playing. This often affects how he performs during matches.

The 2024/25 season was one that Manchester United would rather forget. They barely avoided relegation, finishing the Premier League with only 42 points after recording 11 wins, 9 draws, and 18 losses.

Hopes of qualifying for the Champions League through the Europa League were also crushed when Manchester United lost 1-0 to Tottenham Hotspur in the final.

Despite the team’s poor performance, Fernandes had a good personal season. He scored 19 goals and made 19 assists in 57 matches across all competitions.

However, many fans and football experts criticized him for trying to do too much on his own, instead of working more with the team.

In a recent friendly game against West Ham, Fernandes scored both goals in United’s 2-1 win. After the match, Amorim spoke to MUTV and commented on Fernandes’ attitude.

Amorim explained that Bruno sometimes gets frustrated and that affects how well he focuses on his role in the team.

He said that while Bruno wants to help his teammates, it’s not always the right move. Sometimes, it’s better for him to just focus on his own duties and wait for the ball.
