The Canadian singer-songwriter, who has three kids with Musk, came back online and said she feels very upset about what X has turned into. She described it as feeling like “a poison.”
As reported by the Daily Mail, Grimes didn’t mention Elon Musk’s name directly. But from the way she wrote, it’s clear she’s unhappy with how social media, especially X, has changed since Musk bought it. She said the app feels like “a theatre” and a fake version of real life.
Grimes, who is 37 years old, shares three children with Elon Musk: X Æ A-12, Exa Dark Sideræl, and Techno Mechanicus. Even though they broke up almost four years ago, they are still raising their kids together.
Musk bought Twitter in October 2022 and changed its name to “X.” Since then, he has made many changes to the platform. Some people like how he supports free speech, but others complain that the app now has more false information and harmful content.
