Suspended Senator representing Kogi Central, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has said she will return to the National Assembly on Tuesday.
She shared this news in a video posted on social media, where she was seen speaking to her happy supporters.
In the video, Natasha thanked her supporters for staying by her side through the tough period.
She said, “Thank you for your support. I’m happy that we won today. By God’s grace, we’ll return to the Senate on Tuesday.”
Last Friday, the Federal High Court in Abuja gave a ruling that her suspension from the Senate for six months was wrong. The court said it went against the law and also denied her constituents their right to be represented.
The judge, Binta Nyako, ordered that Natasha should be reinstated immediately.
The court also noted that a post she made earlier — a sarcastic apology to Senate President Godswill Akpabio — broke a court order from March 4, 2025, which had told everyone involved in the case to stop making public or online comments about it.
