Former Sports Minister Solomon Dalung believes President Bola Tinubu won’t win re-election in 2027, no matter what he does — even if he makes his son Seyi the head of INEC.
Dalung shared his opinion during an interview on News Central TV on Friday night.
He explained that the 2027 general elections would not be a typical political contest. Instead, he sees it as a direct fight between everyday Nigerians and Tinubu’s administration.
Dalung said, “Even if all 36 state governors join APC, and Tinubu appoints his son Seyi as INEC chairman and his wife as Chief Justice, they still won’t win in 2027.”
He added that Tinubu’s government has turned against the people. According to Dalung, poverty, hunger, and suffering are now tools the government is using to keep Nigerians down.
He encouraged citizens to prepare for the 2027 elections and support efforts to challenge and change the current government.
Dalung ended by calling on Nigerians to unite and join a coalition to fight back in the upcoming election and take the country in a better direction.
