Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has denied rumours that he plans to leave the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and join the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He said he is still loyal to the PDP and is proud to lead the party in Osun State.
These rumours started after Governor Adeleke visited President Bola Tinubu in Lagos and Abuja. Many people thought this meant he might be planning to switch parties.
But Adeleke has cleared the air. He said his main focus is to continue working on his 5-point agenda and bring development to the people of Osun.
He made this known in a message he shared on X (formerly Twitter), saying people should ignore the false news.
According to him, many supporters have been calling to confirm if he was truly leaving PDP. He assured everyone that he is still a strong member of the party and has no plans to leave.
Governor Adeleke also thanked the people for their support and asked them to continue standing by him as he works for the good of the state.
