BREAKING: EPL: Liverpool forward, Diogo Jota dies in car accident two weeks after wedding

Liverpool footballer Diogo Jota has sadly passed away.

Reports from Portugal say the 28-year-old lost his life in a car crash in Zamora, Spain.

According to Marca, the crash happened on the A52 highway close to Palacios de Sanabria.

It was revealed that Jota was with his brother Andre when the car veered off the road and caught fire. Both of them died in the tragic incident.

Fans and well-wishers have taken to X (formerly Twitter) to mourn Jota, who recently got married just two weeks ago.
