The police spokesperson for Kogi State, SP William Aya, confirmed the incident. He said that one man, identified as Joe Suberu, was arrested at the scene. He also mentioned that the police are still looking for the other people involved in the attack.

Senator Natasha’s media office also released a statement. It confirmed that the attackers destroyed many windows. They added that the combined efforts of police, vigilantes, and young people in the community helped stop the attackers. One of the men was caught.

The media office also claimed that the man who was caught, Joe Suberu, is from the area and is known for doing rituals. They said he admitted that this was the third time he had joined in attacking the senator’s house.

After he was caught, angry people in the area tried to beat him up. However, he was rescued by the police and taken away safely.
