Transfer: Galatasaray told to sign Guessand if they cannot get Osimhen

Galatasaray has been given a backup plan if they fail to sign Victor Osimhen permanently. Former Kasimpasa coach, Onder Ozen, believes the club should go after Nice striker Evann Guessand instead.

Onder Ozen shared his opinion during a chat on the Vole YouTube channel. He said Guessand could be a great alternative if Osimhen doesn’t return to the team. According to Ozen, signing Guessand would be a smart long-term move, especially since the young forward has also been selected for the Ivory Coast national team.

Victor Osimhen’s loan deal with Galatasaray recently ended, and the Nigerian forward has not yet decided where he will play next. During his time at the Turkish club, he impressed fans and coaches alike.

Several top clubs, including Juventus, Al Hilal, and teams from the English Premier League, are interested in Osimhen this summer. Galatasaray still hopes to keep him after a standout season.

Osimhen scored 37 goals in all competitions last season. He also helped Galatasaray win both the Turkish Super Lig and the Turkish Cup. The 26-year-old striker played a huge role in the team’s success, and the club is eager to sign him permanently.

However, football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano recently reported that Osimhen has many choices for his next move. This means Galatasaray may need to explore other options—like Guessand—if they can’t secure Osimhen.
