Nigerian broadcaster Rufai Oseni has asked Kenny Okolugbo, the media aide to Senate President Godswill Akpabio, to explain how he was able to quickly get back access to his X (formerly Twitter) account after claiming it was hacked.

Earlier today, many Nigerians saw shocking posts from Okolugbo’s account. The messages said he was part of a plan to destroy the image of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan. In those posts, he admitted to being involved and also asked the senator for forgiveness.

But soon after, Okolugbo came online and said his account had been hacked. He claimed he had recovered it and that he did not write or post any of those apology messages.

Reacting to this, Rufai Oseni questioned how Okolugbo was able to regain control of his account so quickly. He also demanded that Okolugbo provide clear proof that the account was really hacked.

This incident has raised even more questions among Nigerians, as many wonder whether the hacking story is true or just an excuse to cover up the apology tweets.
