Paul Scholes, the former Manchester United midfielder, has spoken out about who he wants the club to sign this summer. He thinks Man Utd should bring in two forwards: Victor Osimhen and Viktor Gyokeres.
Both Osimhen and Gyokeres have been talked about as possible new players for Manchester United. Other big clubs in Europe are also interested in them.
But Scholes believes Manchester United should try to get both players to Old Trafford. He also thinks the club should give Rasmus Hojlund more time to improve and stay.
This advice comes after Manchester United recently signed Mathues Cunha from Wolves to strengthen their team.
In an interview with The Overlap Fan Debate, Scholes said that signing Osimhen sounds possible. Even though the club has money problems, he thinks Osimhen could still be signed.
Scholes also said he would keep Rasmus Hojlund at the club. He admits Hojlund hasn’t been great yet, but he is only 22 years old and has been playing alone up front for Man Utd for two years.
Scholes believes Manchester United should have at least three strong center forwards. In his view, those three should be Hojlund, Osimhen, and Gyokeres.
By signing these players, Man Utd could have a stronger attack and better options for scoring goals next season.
