Jadon Sancho is heading back to Manchester United after spending last season playing for Chelsea on loan. Chelsea had the option to keep him by paying around £25 million, but things didn’t work out.

Sancho and Chelsea couldn’t agree on the contract terms, so he will be leaving the club. This news was shared by football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on his X account.

Romano said that Chelsea will have to pay a £5 million penalty because of the loan deal. Sancho will now return to Manchester United, and the story between him and Chelsea is over.

With this done, Sancho is expected to find a new club during the summer transfer window.
