A man who crashed through the gates of actress Jennifer Aniston’s home in Bel Air is now under investigation for possible stalking. The suspect has been identified as Jimmy Wayne Carwyle.
Police said Carwyle drove onto Aniston’s property on Monday. Her private security team quickly stopped him and held him at gunpoint until police officers arrived at the scene.
Now, the LAPD’s threat management unit is looking deeper into the case. Investigators are focusing on social media accounts linked to Carwyle to see if there’s a stalking connection.
They are especially reviewing a Facebook page believed to belong to Carwyle. The page has many strange and confusing posts. One post from last October shows he wanted Jennifer Aniston to be his “bride,” which has raised red flags.
Carwyle has been arrested for felony vandalism and is currently in jail with no option for bail.
At the time of the break-in, Jennifer Aniston was home, but she did not come into contact with Carwyle and was not harmed. So far, her team has not made any public statements about the event.
