In a heartwarming tweet that quickly became popular, Chiamaka Nwakalor-Egemba, the wife of well-known health influencer Aproko Doctor, gave hope to women living with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS).
Chiamaka, who also lives with PCOS, encouraged women struggling with infertility not to give up. She shared the story of Nigerian content creator Maraji, who is now expecting her third child naturally—without using IVF.
Her message was clear: PCOS does not mean you can’t have children. There is still hope.
“Maraji is on Baby number 3, no IVF so far. She is a PCOS Warrior. My PCOS Warriors, THERE IS STILL HOPE!”she wrote
She continued with a motivational call to others:
“Don’t let your faith shake. Fight and have control of your mind and body. If you need help, I have a support group. I even show the recipe that helped me. YOU WILL SMILE AGAIN!”
After her tweet, many people reacted with emotional messages. Some shared their symptoms for the first time, others asked what PCOS is, and many wanted to join her support group.
Chiamaka’s message reminds women everywhere that they are not alone, and that hope is still alive—even with PCOS.
