Popular Ghanaian singer Kidi recently shared his personal views about dating and relationships, and it has sparked a lot of discussion online.
Speaking on the podcast Rants, Bants And Confessions, the “Cheat On You” hitmaker said he doesn’t mind having short-term fun with women who have a high body count. However, he made it clear that he wouldn’t consider marrying someone with that kind of past.
When asked if a woman’s body count matters, Kidi responded, “If it’s just for fun, I don’t care. But if I want to be serious with you, then it matters to me.”
He explained that he wouldn’t feel comfortable walking into a room where many men have a history with his partner. He added, “I don’t want to be with someone who has been with too many men.”
Kidi also shared that he believes every relationship leaves a mark, and the more partners a person has had, the more emotional pieces they may lose along the way. “If you’ve been with 50 people, and each relationship took something from you, what’s left for me?” he asked.
His comments have drawn mixed reactions, with some agreeing and others calling his views unfair and judgmental. What do you think about his opinion?
