Former Chelsea player, Joe Cole, has suggested that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta should consider signing Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen this summer. Currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, Osimhen has been in excellent form, scoring 29 goals and assisting five in 33 matches.

Last year, Osimhen was linked with Arsenal, but his €130m release clause made the deal difficult. Now, with his impressive performances in Turkey, it’s expected that Osimhen will be on the move again at the end of the season.

Cole, who won three Premier League titles, believes that Osimhen would be a great fit for Arsenal. He mentioned that although Alexander Isak is a talented striker, Osimhen stands out as a better choice for the Gunners.

“Osimhen is perfect for Arsenal. He’s been scoring goals in Turkey, and he looks like the right player for them,” Cole said. “Isak might be good, but why would he move to Arsenal now? If Newcastle could spend more, Isak wouldn’t be an option. For me, Osimhen is the one for Arsenal.”
