Man United, Man City want Premier League to end quickly – Scholes on 0-0 draw

The Manchester Derby between Manchester United and Manchester City ended in a goalless draw on Sunday at Old Trafford. According to former Manchester United star Paul Scholes, neither team played well enough to win.

The game didn’t create much excitement, especially since both teams are not doing well at the moment. In the first half, both sides were very careful and only managed one shot on target each.

Things improved a little in the second half, but overall, the match didn’t feel like a big derby. Scholes, who has played and watched many Manchester derbies, wasn’t impressed by what he saw.

He pointed out that the game lacked energy and intensity. Scholes said Manchester City had more possession, while Manchester United had a few chances on the counter-attack, but nothing special happened.

“It felt like both teams just want the Premier League season to end quickly,” Scholes added.

After the draw, Manchester United stayed in 13th place and Manchester City kept their 5th position in the Premier League table.
