Hold Akpabio, Bello, Ododo responsible if anything happens to me – Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan

Suspended Kogi Central Senator, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has issued a warning, saying Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Kogi State Governor Usman Ododo, and former Governor Yahaya Bello should be held responsible if she or her supporters face any harm.

She made this statement on Tuesday through her Facebook page, urging Nigerians to take note. According to her, if her followers are attacked, these three political figures should be blamed.

Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s warning came just hours after she reaffirmed her decision to visit her constituency for the Eid-el-Fitr celebration despite growing concerns. She dismissed rumors that she had canceled the trip and encouraged her supporters to join her in celebrating the festival.

She emphasized that, as an elected representative, it is her duty to engage with her constituents.

Meanwhile, the Kogi State Government has banned rallies and public gatherings due to security concerns. The state government cited recent incidents that led to the loss of two lives in Kogi West.

The Commissioner for Information, Kingsley Fanwo, explained that the decision aims to prevent any security breaches that could destabilize the state.

Similarly, the Kogi State Police Command warned Akpoti-Uduaghan against holding her planned Sallah rally.
