Veteran Nollywood actor, Olaiya Igwe, has revealed that his biggest regret is disappointing popular gospel singer, Tope Alabi, on her wedding day.

In an interview with Baba Ibe TV, Olaiya Igwe shared how the incident happened years ago after he bought a luxury car following the success of his movie Ololade Mr Money.

According to him, Tope Alabi and her husband, Soji, visited him before their wedding and asked to use his car for their official ride. He initially agreed but later changed his mind out of fear that armed robbers might steal the vehicle from them. Instead of explaining, he ignored their calls the day before the wedding.

Looking back, the actor admitted that he deeply regrets his decision. Although he has apologized to Tope Alabi, he still feels guilty about what happened. He noted that the gospel singer now owns many luxury cars, some of which he cannot afford.

“My greatest regret is disappointing Tope Alabi. I have apologized, but the guilt still lingers,” he said.
