Former U.S. President Donald Trump has publicly endorsed Republican Congressman Byron Donalds for the 2026 Florida governor’s race.

Even though Donalds has not officially announced his candidacy, Trump shared his support on Truth Social, calling him a strong leader.

Trump praised Donalds, saying he has been tested under pressure and has proven to be a winner. He believes Donalds would be a powerful governor and a strong voice for the “America First” agenda.

Trump assured that if Donalds decides to run, he will have his “Complete and Total Endorsement.”

As of now, no major candidates have officially entered the race. However, Donalds and Florida’s First Lady, Casey DeSantis, are considered top contenders for the position.
