Nigerian singer Damilola Afolabi, popularly known as L.A.X, has opened up about a painful experience in his past relationship.

In a recent chat with media personality Chude Jideonwo, the singer shared how he once begged his girlfriend to stay after discovering she had cheated on him.

L.A.X explained that one night, his girlfriend came home drunk. As he helped her to bed, she threw up, and he decided to check her phone.

To his surprise, he saw a message that suggested she had been unfaithful. The text read, “I enjoyed this night. I think we should do this again.”

When he confronted her, she dismissed it, saying the person was just a friend. Instead of reacting angrily, L.A.X admitted that he found himself pleading with her to stay and work things out. Surprisingly, she reassured him and told him not to worry.

This revelation shocked many fans, as it showed a different side of relationships, even for celebrities. It also highlighted how love can sometimes make people overlook betrayal.
