Singer Lil Smart, also known as Idowu Smart Emmanuel, has been arrested by the Nigeria Police for making false accusations against fellow artist Naira Marley.
The charges against him include criminal defamation, cyberstalking, cyberbullying, and spreading false information.
The trouble started in December 2024, when Lil Smart accused Naira Marley and Zinoleesky of attempting to kidnap him. He even warned that they should be held accountable if anything happened to him.
The police statement on February 6 revealed that Lil Smart was arrested on January 28. During the investigation, he admitted that his accusations were false and lacked any evidence.
This incident has raised concerns about online behavior and the consequences of spreading unverified claims.
