Rapper Kanye West has asked President Donald Trump to help free Sean Combs, also known as Puff Daddy or Diddy, who is currently in prison. West took to social media, writing: “@realDonaldTrump, please free my brother Puff.”
Diddy was arrested by Homeland Security last September, facing accusations of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and using interstate transportation for prostitution.
He has denied all the charges and pleaded not guilty in September. Despite this, his requests for bail have been denied twice.
Recently, Diddy was reportedly sent to a hospital in Brooklyn for treatment after injuring his knee. He was later returned to his jail cell. Diddy’s trial is scheduled to begin later this year.
