Na’ballo, a notorious bandit leader with a long history of terrorizing communities, has been killed along with eight other bandits. Na’ballo, who was an ally of Ado Aleiro, was reportedly killed during a clash with military troops in the northern region of Nigeria.
Based in Takulawa, a locality in Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State, Na’ballo led criminal activities in the area. According to Zagazola Makama, an expert in counter-terrorism and insurgency in the Lake Chad Basin region, Na’ballo died during an internal fight between rival bandit groups.
In a separate incident, suspected Fulani bandits launched an attack on motorists traveling between Kucheri and Magazu villages. Fortunately, the motorists managed to escape and quickly alerted the military. In response, troops acted swiftly, carrying out a coordinated operation that led to the neutralization of all eight attackers. No civilians were harmed during the intervention.
This operation marks another significant victory for the military in the fight against banditry in the region.
