Popular Nigerian skit maker and activist, Mr. Macaroni, has made it clear why he will continue to avoid Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu. His stance has sparked conversations online, with many applauding his decision to stay true to his values.

The issue came to light when a social media user, @OyesileJohn, called out Mr. Macaroni on X (formerly Twitter) for allegedly snubbing the governor. The user tweeted, “To d’ifa fun a certain Macaroni who, in an attempt to please the mob, snubbed the governor of Lagos state. Omo ase.”

In response, Mr. Macaroni strongly defended his position, saying, “I will continue to snub your Governor. He doesn’t mean anything to me, neither do you or your father. I love that you slaves bring this issue up all the time. For every time you do, I will send you to your masters.”

He further explained that his decision is based on his past experiences with the government. Mr. Macaroni recalled being stripped, beaten, tortured, and humiliated while in detention. According to him, the police even told him to “stop disturbing the governor.”

The activist has made it clear that he cannot associate with a government that caused him so much pain and trauma. While some people criticize his stance, others commend his courage in standing up for his beliefs.
