The tragic news was shared by fellow gospel actor and producer Oluwaseun Adejumobi on his Instagram account on Thursday, where he wrote, “Heaven’s Gain Again. General Has Gone to rest.”
Baba Gbenro was a well-loved figure in the Nigerian gospel movie industry. He not only starred in Abattoir, a series from the renowned Mount Zion Films, but also founded and led the Calvary Movies Drama Ministry in Ogbomoso, Nigeria. In addition, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Calvary Movies Television.
The news of his passing has left his fans in shock, with many visiting his last Instagram post from just six days ago to express their condolences.
