The family of former Vice President Namadi Sambo is mourning the loss of Alhaji Suleiman Sambo, who passed away on Monday at 82. After a long illness, he died surrounded by family. Known for his dedication to public service, Alhaji Suleiman served in Kaduna State’s Department of Government Printing. He retired in 1994 as Chief Superintendent after 35 years of committed work in the now-defunct Ministry of Information and Home Affairs.
Alhaji Suleiman leaves behind his wife, 11 children, 52 grandchildren, and 38 great-grandchildren. His large family and his lasting impact in government service make him a respected figure in the community.
The funeral service, held at the Bashama Road Cemetery, was attended by family members, friends, and well-wishers. Among those present were former Vice President Namadi Sambo, along with religious and traditional leaders, all coming together to honor his life and service.
