Kellyrae, the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 9, has spoken up about the many requests for financial help he’s been receiving from friends and family. Since he publicly mentioned that he gave his wife, Kassia, N55 million from his prize, the reality star has been flooded with calls asking for their share of his winnings.

In a recent chat with media personality Hero Daniels, Kellyrae expressed that this situation has become overwhelming. He shared that people close to him started contacting him immediately after hearing about the money he gave Kassia, asking for their portion of his N60 million prize.

“I want to tell everyone that I’m not rich yet,” Kellyrae said, explaining that while the prize money is large, living expenses are high. He humorously mentioned that even simple things like buying eggs cost more than people might think.

Kellyrae urged people to give him time to settle into his new life before asking for favors. He walked away with N60 million in cash and a car worth N40 million after winning BBNaija Season 9, but he made it clear that he still needs space to manage his finances and adjust to his new reality.
