On Saturday, former President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan, visited Katsina State to pay a condolence visit to the Yar’Adua family. The visit came after the passing of Hajiya Dada Yar’Adua, the mother of former President Umaru Yar’Adua.

Jonathan was warmly welcomed by the Governor of Katsina State, Dikko Radda. The Deputy Governor, Faruk Lawal, along with other officials, were also present to receive the former president. They accompanied him to the Yar’adua family home, where Senator Abdulazeez Yar’Adua received the delegation.

During the visit, Jonathan fondly remembered his personal experiences with Hajiya Dada Yar’Adua. He took the time to reflect on the meaningful moments they had shared.

Jonathan stated,

“I used to call her mother of all because of her nurturing role that extended far beyond her immediate family and touched the lives of many across the nation”,
