Sven-Goran Eriksson, Former England Manager, Passes Away at 76

Sven-Goran Eriksson, the renowned former England football manager, has passed away at the age of 76. The news was confirmed by his family in a brief statement released on Monday.

According to the statement, “Sven-Goran Eriksson has passed away. After a long illness, SGE died during the morning at home surrounded by family.”

Eriksson had been struggling with pancreatic cancer and had been informed earlier in 2024 that he had only about a year left to live.
