The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police have disclosed the identity of the well-known crossdresser murdered in Abuja earlier this month. The body of the crossdresser, who was popularly known as ‘Abuja Area Mama,’ was found along the Katampe-Mabushi Expressway on August 8.

The deceased has been identified as Ifeanyi Chukwu-Agah Benedict, a 33-year-old originally from Afikpo North Local Government Area in Ebonyi State. He lived in Dapé, Karmo Area of Abuja.

The police have contacted the victim’s family, who are assisting with the investigation. The authorities are working to uncover further details surrounding this tragic event.
