Izu Osuji, the CEO of Pruvia International and Fitnesshutcentre, has been accused of a significant fraud involving over ₦10 million. The scandal has captured attention as numerous victims allege they were deceived by Osuji’s investment schemes.

According to reports, Osuji solicited large sums of money from investors by promising high returns. One notable case involves a victim who deposited ₦10,836,000 and an additional ₦346,752 into what was purported to be a lucrative investment opportunity. However, when the victim sought to withdraw her funds as outlined in her investment confirmation letter, she was met with silence. Despite multiple attempts to reach Osuji through various communication channels, he failed to respond.

The victim, along with others in a similar predicament, reported the matter to the Lagos police. Despite the serious allegations, Osuji was granted bail, which has only added to the frustration and urgency felt by those affected.

In response to the unfolding situation, the victims are now calling on high-profile anti-corruption agencies for assistance. They have specifically reached out to the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), the Head of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offenses Commission (ICPC), and the Inspector General of Police. Their plea is for these bodies to intervene and help recover the substantial sums of money that were fraudulently taken from them.
