A young woman named Sonia has been reported missing after embarking on a journey from Ibadan to Lagos. Sonia, who is a student at Lead City University in Ibadan, Oyo State, left for Lagos on Thursday afternoon, August 1, 2024. Her friend, Tobi, revealed that Sonia boarded a vehicle from the university but never reached her destination in Lagos.
Tobi, who is deeply worried about Sonia’s safety, has shared that they were in constant communication until she left Ibadan. However, all attempts to reach Sonia since then have been unsuccessful. Tobi has now taken to social media to seek help from the public in locating Sonia.
According to Tobi, Sonia is a responsible and cautious individual, making her sudden disappearance all the more alarming. Friends and family have expressed their concerns, urging anyone with information about Sonia’s whereabouts to come forward.
She wrote on X,
“My friend Sonia is missing. She boarded a bus from Lead City University going home to Lagos. She was last heard from by 1pm and said she was in Ijebu Ode. Since then, we have been unable to locate her. Her phone has been switched off. PLEASE ANY INFORMATION WOULD BE APPRECIATED.”
