Nigerian singer Simisola Kosoko, popularly known as Simi, recently made an interesting revelation about her music preferences. In an appearance on the ‘Zero Conditions’ podcast, Simi shared that she only listens to her husband Adekunle Gold’s music.

During the podcast, Simi explained her unique listening habit, stating that she listens to Adekunle Gold’s songs because they are married. She emphasized that she doesn’t generally listen to other artists’ music. “I don’t listen to anybody’s music, the reason I listen to my husband’s songs is because I’m married to him,” she said.

Simi did mention some exceptions, highlighting her appreciation for Post Malone’s first album, ‘Beerbongs & Bentleys’, and her love for J.Cole. However, she made it clear that her primary focus remains on her husband’s music.

Interestingly, Simi also admitted that she doesn’t even listen to her own music that much. She explained that while she is currently listening to her new album because it just came out, she expects that in a few weeks, she won’t listen to it as often.
