A woman in Baguio City, Philippines, cut off her husband’s penis after he mentioned another woman’s name during sex.

The couple, whose identities remain anonymous, were having sex when the husband allegedly moaned another woman’s name.

The wife, 55, waited for her husband to fall asleep before grabbing a 10-inch knife from the kitchen and cutting off his penis.

Neighbors, alerted by the man’s screams, rushed him to the hospital.

The wife was arrested by Baguio City police officers.

Police found the knife and the severed penis at the scene.

A Baguio City Police Station spokesman said the motive was jealousy, as the wife accused her husband of being unfaithful.

Local media reported that doctors attempted to reattach the penis but were unsuccessful.

The wife, now in police custody, admitted to the act, citing alcohol influence but insisted she was aware of her actions.

She accused her husband of infidelity, stating that he should not deny his wrongdoing as she had seen evidence of it.

She had previously tried to charge him with adultery but lacked sufficient evidence.

Police stated she will face charges of mutilation, which carries a penalty of 12 to 40 years in prison in the Philippines.
