Police officers in Nasarawa State, from the Karshi Division, have arrested two suspects, Chigozie Jerry (29) and Chigozie Junior Chigozie (19), for breaking into Government Secondary School in Karshi and stealing computers and other items.
The arrest was made after the police received reliable information from concerned citizens, according to a statement by DSP Ramhan Nansel, the Police Public Relations Officer in Nasarawa.
Nansel said that the police recovered various items from the suspects, including one inverter, seven CPUs, five keyboards, seven monitors, three mice, a change-over switch, and one solar battery.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Nadada Shehu Umar, praised the public for their timely and reliable information, urging them to continue helping the police. He also instructed the Divisional Police Officer to charge the suspects in court after completing the investigation. The CP promised to keep all information provided by the public confidential.
