His passing was announced by Bolaji Amusan of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) via Instagram. In a heartfelt post, Amusan shared a picture of Sanyaolu with the message, “Sleep well Uncle Shina Sanyaolu.”
