Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris has pledged that the state will support President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 elections.

He made this statement on Monday after speaking with journalists following a stakeholders’ meeting in Birnin Kebbi.

The governor explained that the gathering focused on important matters affecting the party and strengthening its position ahead of future elections.

He added that the outcomes of the meeting would be shared through the state Commissioner for Information.

Idris expressed confidence in the All Progressives Congress (APC), saying the party has strong support in Kebbi State.

He also noted that residents remain committed to ensuring the APC succeeds both at the state and national levels.

The meeting, according to the News Agency of Nigeria, was attended by prominent political figures including Minister of Budget and Economic Planning Atiku Bagudu, Minister of State for Humanitarian Affairs Yusuf Tanko-Sununu, and Senators Adamu Aliero and Yahaya Abdullahi.
