Former chairman of Konshisha Local Government Area in Benue State, Moses Shirsha, has died just four days after losing his wife, Mercy Mngu.

Reports say his wife passed away suddenly on March 25, 2026. A few days later, on March 29, Moses collapsed and died in his village while making arrangements for her burial.

It has been confirmed that both of them will be buried on the same day, Friday, April 10, 2026, in Mbaasuku, Mbator Gaav, Konshisha Local Government Area.
