A political commentator, Oswald, has shared his views on why Peter Obi allegedly lost one of his strong allies, Isaac Balami, describing the development as a major setback.

According to Oswald, Balami was not just a supporter but an “intellectual soldier” who contributed ideas and strategy during key political moments. His departure, he noted, weakens the inner strength of Obi’s political movement.

He explained that disagreements and internal differences may have played a role in the separation, stressing that such issues are common in growing political groups.

Oswald further suggested that maintaining unity among core supporters is critical, especially as Nigeria approaches future elections and political realignments.

He added that losing experienced voices like Balami could affect decision-making and reduce the effectiveness of campaign structures if not addressed quickly.

Despite this, he expressed hope that Obi’s camp can rebuild and strengthen its team by bringing in new voices while resolving internal concerns.
